Terms of Service

GrimmChat lets you add an AI interface to your website, where visitors browse your content, ask questions, and take action — contact, inquire or order — from within your site. By using GrimmChat, you accept these terms.

When using the crawl feature, you represent that you own the indexed website or have the necessary permissions to extract its content. The same applies to any documents you upload or any product feed you connect. GrimmChat does not verify ownership of submitted URLs and disclaims any liability for the unauthorized indexing of third-party content.

You must not use GrimmChat to: crawl websites you are not authorized to; collect personal data without the knowledge of the people concerned; or generate illegal, fraudulent or infringing content. You must not attempt to disrupt the Service, manipulate Grimm into producing content unrelated to the indexed website, or circumvent its limits or its billing.

Chatbot actions are billed in credits, from the credit balance attached to your GrimmChat account. You top up your balance from your dashboard — GrimmChat never charges beyond it (nor beyond the optional daily caps you set) and only at the prices published on the Pricing page. Prices may change at any time; a change applies only to future top-ups and future actions, and is announced on the Pricing page — credits already in your balance keep their value in credits. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Free credits (welcome or promotional) are deemed consumed first and are never refundable. Balances and top-ups are capped so prepayments stay small. If the Service were permanently discontinued, purchased and unused credits would be refunded pro rata upon request within 90 days of the closure notice.

GrimmChat may evolve, suspend or permanently discontinue the Service; a permanent discontinuation is announced with at least 30 days' notice, during which chatbots keep working and unused purchased credits are refundable as described in section 4. AI-generated answers are provided “as is” and may contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, GrimmChat is not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the Service. Answers given by Grimm on a website do not bind the owner of that website unless stated otherwise. When visitors send contact requests, inquiries or orders through Grimm, GrimmChat only transmits them to the site owner and is not a party to any resulting transaction. Where in-widget payment is enabled, it is processed by Stripe and settled directly to the site owner’s own connected Stripe account: the site owner is the seller and merchant of record, and is solely responsible for delivering the goods or services, for refunds, chargebacks and disputes, and for complying with consumer and tax law. GrimmChat never receives or holds these funds; it provides the software interface and may charge the site owner a service fee (commission) on such payments. The site owner warrants that it will fulfil orders lawfully, and indemnifies GrimmChat against any claim arising from its sales or non-delivery; GrimmChat may suspend or terminate the payment feature for non-fulfilment, fraud or excessive disputes. These terms are governed by Swiss law.
